OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Oklahoma City FC powered into the Central Region Final with a decisive 3‑0 victory over Austin Rise FC at Mustang (Okla.) Bronco Soccer Stadium in the Women’s Premier Soccer League regional semifinals.
Oklahoma City scored what proved to be the game-winner in the 18th minute when Hannah Voskuhl pounded on a rebound after Austin Rise FC keeper Alondria Iriarte bobbled the ball in the box and Voskuhl made her pay.
Oklahoma City FC added to its advantage in the 45th minute, when two-time Oklahoma Gatorade High School Player of the Year and University of Florida-commit Rylee McLanahan sent in a bending cornerkick and Samantha Guzman was there in the box to head it home.
The hosts capped the scouring in the 75th minute when Jenna Munson finished off another close-range rebound opportunity and sent the chance into the back of the net.
Goalkeeper Callie Sullivan recorded the clean sheet for Oklahoma City FC, which moved to 10-0-2 on the season and recorded its seventh shutout of the season. Oklahoma City has now outscored the opposition 40-7 and lowered its goals-against-average down to 0.59 thanks to its consistent stingy defense.
Oklahoma City FC will play the St. Croix Legacy at 8 p.m. Sunday ET also in Mustang, Okla.
