A pivotal weekend in Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) delivered marquee matchups and decisive results, as the league’s top teams in both the North and South Conferences put their records — and first-place positioning — on the line.


South Conference: Amarillo Stays Perfect

The Amarillo Bombers continued their dominant run with a pair of wins over Orlando Atletico Pro, improving to 7-0 on the season. Orlando, which entered the weekend near the top of the table, slipped to 7-4 after the two-game series. North Conference: Toronto Takes Control

In the North, the Cleveland Crunch and Toronto Canadian Crusaders squared off in a battle of undefeated teams. Toronto emerged with a statement win, moving to 7-0 and handing Cleveland its first loss of the season.

Amarillo Bombers vs. Orlando Atletico Pro

Feb. 6Amarillo opened the weekend with an 11-5 victory, jumping out to a four-goal first-period lead and never looking back. Cleberson Rodrigues, Emanuel Celaya and Jose Lopez all found the back of the net, while Orlando’s Raphael Tobias recorded a hat trick, including a penalty kick. Amarillo steadily extended its lead, pulling away in the fourth period to seal the win.


Orlando Atletico Pro vs. Amarillo Bombers

Feb. 7The rematch delivered a thriller, with Amarillo edging Orlando 8-7 in a back-and-forth contest. The lead changed hands multiple times throughout the match. Luis Esteban led Amarillo with three goals, while Tobias continued his strong weekend for Orlando with three goals and an assist. Amarillo held on late to complete the weekend sweep.



Toronto Canadian Crusaders vs. Cleveland Crunch

Feb. 7

Toronto earned a 7-5 win in a tightly contested North Conference showdown. Cleveland jumped out to an early 3-1 advantage, but Toronto responded with four unanswered goals in the third period. Yonis Jama powered the comeback with three goals and an assist. Toronto outshot Cleveland 45-20 and protected the lead down the stretch to remain unbeaten.


Dallas CD La Cuadra vs. Boulder United FC Halo

Feb. 7

Boulder United FC Halo pulled away for a 10-2 victory after overcoming an early deficit. Jovany Herrera scored twice, while Rudy Medina and Luis Reyes each added a goal and an assist. Boulder outshot Dallas 42-21 and extended its lead in every period after tying the match in the second.


Ft. Wayne Summit City Sentinels vs. Chicago Mustangs

Feb. 7

Chicago rebounded from an early deficit to defeat Ft. Wayne 9-6. Andy Tobar and Christopher Coria each posted multi-goal performances, while Ft. Wayne’s Eddy Yousak and Richard Faleye scored twice apiece. Chicago controlled the pace after the opening period, outshooting Ft. Wayne 41-14 to secure the win.


Pittsburgh Bridge City FC vs. Lansing Red Cedar

Feb. 7

Pittsburgh delivered an offensive explosion in an 18-8 win over Lansing. Bridge City built a commanding 10-1 halftime lead and continued to extend the margin in the second half. Nathan Dragisich, Matthew Teitelbaum and Austin Rocke each recorded multiple goals. Despite both teams finishing with 21 shots, Pittsburgh’s efficiency proved decisive.
