MACOMB, Mich. – Macomb L’Anse Creuse North has been a thorn in Romeo’s side this season.
After tying the No. 14-ranked Bulldogs 0-0 back on April 16, the Crusaders gained a huge measure of respect by stunning Macomb Area Conference-Red Division leader and Division 1 14th-ranked Romeo 2-1 Monday to hold firm in third-place in the six-school conference.
While L’Anse Creuse North won’t win the MAC-Red, the Crusaders are making it interesting. Romeo is just ahead of Utica Eisenhower in the standings with LCN just behind Eisenhower.
