DEARBORN, Mich. – Vivienne DeLand scored her first career varsity goal for Dearborn Divine Child against Riverview Thursday night. That’s news in its own right.

Meanwhile, DeLand’s teammate and team leader Camryn Huhn has been an unstoppable force on the soccer pitch during the first couple of weeks of the high school season, turning heads across the state as a pure goal-scorer.

A forward and attacking midfielder by trade, Huhn supplied a huge four-goal production night and Divine Child routed visiting Riverview 5-0 in a non-conference match to help the Falcons improve to 4-1-0 on the young 2025 campaign.

Samira Jraiche recorded the shutout for Divine Child, the team’s first of the season, as the young Falcons back line is slowly rounding into shape after yielding nine goals during the first four matches of the season.

Huhn, a NCAA Division I commit to Western Michigan University, already has three hat tricks this season. She has collected 16 goals – believed to be tops in the state after just three weeks of competition – and has provided a pair of assists.

Overall, her Divine Child team has outscored the opposition 21-9 over the first five games. Huhn is averaging 3.2 goals-per-game and has scored 76.2 percent of her team’s goals this season.

Combining youth club and high school soccer, Huhn is one of Michigan’s top junior talents. She could emerge as a All-State Dream Team candidate this season and is projected to be one of the frontrunners next year for the prestigious Miss Soccer award in 2026 if she continues to play high school soccer.

Huhn plays club soccer with the Plymouth Reign, which will make the leap from NL to ECNL-RL next school year.

Last season as a sophomore, Huhn was Division 2 All-State First Team to go along with being named All-CHSL, All-District, All-Region and All-Dearborn Area. The Falcons were a young team a year ago, but rebounded late in the campaign to win a district championship and finish 10-9-0 overall. Divine Child lost in the Division 2 regional semifinals last season to Trenton (2-1).

TROY ATHENS 2, BIRMINGHAM MARIAN 0: The Red Hawks remained undefeated on the year with this non-conference victory over Division 2 powerhouse Marian. Lauren DeJonckheere scored both goals for Athens and Ashley Miller made seven saves to record the shutout. The Red Hawks have outscored their opposition 7-1 this season and improved to 3-0-0 with the win.

STERLING HEIGHTS STEVENSON 3, UTICA FORD II 1: Two years ago Stevenon took its fair share of lumps against school district rival Utica Ford, even losing one of those matches 7-1. This time around it was the Titans who had the last laugh with this MAC crossover win thursday over the Falcons, the two-time MAC White Division champions who are now up in the MAC Red Division. Lilly Kulczycki, Laila Martin and Presley Jones scored for Stevenoson, while Jones added two assists and Mailnee McKnee drew the other assist for the Titans. Stevenson also picked up great defensive performance from Maria Micakaj, Chloe Nissan, Sophia Gibala and McKnee
