DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. – Downers Grove North scored the first two goals and hung on for a 2-1 non-conference girls soccer win Friday over LeGrange Park Nazareth Academy..
Campbell Thulin assisted on both goals for Downers Grove North (7-6-4), which captured its third straight win. Finley Werner and Ellie Larsen scored the goals for the Trojans.
Downers Grove North has now outscored the opposition 35-20 this season and have a game coming up May 10 against arch-rival Downers Grove South.
Nazareth Academy slipped to 11-6-1 on the season but did get a goal from freshman Daniella Buruti.
