NOVI, Mich. — Michigan Jaguars FC announced this week a new partnership with Sporting Michigan Soccer Club — uniting two of Michigan’s leading youth soccer organizations.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward in player development, facility access, and — most importantly — a shared commitment to community-focused growth. It also represents Michigan Jaguars FC’s official expansion into the North Oakland County and Macomb County markets.
The newly unified club will operate under the name Michigan Jaguars FC Rochester-Romeo, becoming the first club in that area to join the Jaguars family. This move reflects a broader vision to grow the Jaguars’ presence across Southeast Michigan.
By partnering with Sporting Michigan, who share a commitment to community, excellence, and player-centered development, the Michigan Jaguars look forward to building and learning together.

Through this partnership, players will benefit from access to high-quality training and competition facilities, including Borden Park, Oakland University, and Gilcher Park — providing convenient and professional environments for athletes of all ages and levels.
“This partnership is a meaningful step for youth soccer in our area,” said Jason Davis, Director of Sporting Michigan Soccer Club. “Joining the Michigan Jaguars FC family is a natural fit and will help us build on the unique club culture we’ve developed over the past 15-plus years. That culture is rooted in core values that align with those of Michigan Jaguars FC. We’re proud to be the first Rochester-area club to lead the way into this exciting new era.”
