SARASOTA, FL — Athletic Club Boise etched its name into the history books Saturday night, securing a 1-0 victory over Sarasota Paradise in the club’s inaugural USL League One match. The win marks a triumphant entry into the professional ranks for the Idaho-based side, which relied on a disciplined defensive effort and a clinical second-half strike to secure three points on the road.
Playing in front of a spirited crowd at Sarasota, the visitors weathered an early offensive push from the home side before settling into the match. The first half remained a tactical stalemate, with both clubs feeling out the nerves of a season opener.
