Fort Wayne FC has added a major piece to its midfield with the signing of Jack Thomas, who is coming off a standout season at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. Thomas was recently named the United Soccer Coaches NAIA Player of the Year following an incredible campaign.
“I’m buzzing to sign my first professional contract with Fort Wayne FC,” Thomas said. “I can’t wait to put on the shirt and represent this great club. I’m excited to give it my all and I know we’re in for a great season.”
Thomas impressed coaches and staff during training camp as a trialist, quickly proving he was the right fit for Fort Wayne FC as the club prepares for its inaugural professional season.
With the addition of Thomas, Fort Wayne FC’s roster now stands at 18 players ahead of its first professional match on March 7.
