The National Soccer Network (NSN) is proud to announce a historic milestone for the brand, signing its first-ever Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with one of Michigan’s most accomplished high school soccer players — De La Salle junior Andrew Corder.
Coming off back-to-back MHSAA Division 2 State Championships, Corder has established himself as one of the premier attacking players in the state, blending elite production with leadership and a team-first mentality that defines championship programs.
“I consider myself a hardworking soccer player who loves the game and always gives my best,” said Corder. “I strive to be the best teammate, leader and player possible in every practice and competition. I continue to look for ways to improve as a player and person and am open to positive feedback and constructive criticism.”
That approach translated into a record-breaking season.

Corder finished the year with 38 goals and 16 assists, setting a new De La Salle single-season scoring record, surpassing the previous mark of 31 goals set in 1987. His performance was a driving force behind the Pilots’ championship run, as they completed a 19-4-2 season and captured their second straight state title.
He also continues to climb the program’s all-time scoring list, totaling 71 career goals, putting him within reach of the school record heading into his senior season.
Head coach Thaier Mukhtar, who has coached some of the top talent in Michigan, sees a rare ability in Corder’s game.
“He’s just a pure goal scorer and has a knack for the goal, which is hard to find,” Mukhtar said. “He’s so fast without the ball and I think he’s even faster with the ball. He knows how to receive the ball in the right position, turn and get by defenders and go to goal. He also has a great shot — he can be on the right side and fire it perfectly to the left post in a hurry.”
Mukhtar also emphasized Corder’s efficiency and team awareness.
“He’s having a great career and he’s one of the best finishers I’ve coached,” he said. “He’s so dangerous every time he touches the ball. And he isn’t selfish because he understands when to go to goal or lay it off with a pass to a teammate.”
That balance between individual talent and team play has been key to De La Salle’s sustained success.
“We also try not to run up the score on teams,” Mukhtar added. “If we have a big lead, we try to pull off our starters and let others get some playing time. If we kept Andrew in, there would have been games the last couple of years where he would have scored four or five goals. He’s that talented.”
Corder’s standout season earned him All-Catholic League, All-District, and All-Region honors, and he was officially named to the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association (MIHSSCA) Dream Team, recognizing him as one of the top players in the state.
Heading into his senior season, Corder is expected to be one of the top candidates for the prestigious Mr. Soccer award, given annually to the top high school player in Michigan.
Despite the accolades, Corder remains focused on what matters most.
“When I get the ball, I think about scoring and helping the team win,” he said.
His connection to De La Salle runs deep. His father, Steve Corder, was part of back-to-back state championship teams in 1992 and 1993 — also under Mukhtar — making Andrew’s championships part of a unique family legacy.
“My dad went to De La Salle back in the 1990s and won a couple of state championships here,” Corder said. “Doing the same thing is really special.”
“One of my goals is to play college soccer,” he said. “But right now I’m focused on continuing to improve and preparing for what’s next.”
Mukhtar believes Corder’s ceiling is still rising.
“In terms of being a goal scorer, I don’t think there’s many players in the state with Andrew’s ability — especially doing it against top competition,” he said. “By the time he graduates, he should be the greatest goal scorer we’ve ever had.”

Through this partnership, NSN aligns with an athlete who represents everything the network stands for — work ethic, humility, and excellence both on and off the field.
“I feel blessed to be able to represent National Soccer Network as their first NIL brand ambassador,” Corder said. “I want to thank the entire NSN staff for this opportunity and look forward to working with them to grow the NSN brand and the game of soccer.”
And for Andrew Corder — the journey is just getting started.
