AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Behind a 47-2 shots edge, host Auburn Hills Oakland Christian cruised to a 3-0 win over Bloomfield Hills Roeper Wednesday in a Division 4 district semifinals clash.
Oakland Christian (9-4-3) finally picked up the game-winner with 45 seconds left in the first half when Rowan Klein chipped in a shot from the left side.
Klein netted the brace with her second goal five minutes into the second half, this time with a 30-yard blooping shot for the 2-0 cushion.
Jessica Reyes capped the scoring with 29 minutes to go on an unassisted shot from outside the box.
Sydney Yates recorded the shutout for Oakland Christian, which snared its seventh shutout of the season.
Oakland Christian is peaking at the right time and carry a seven-game win streak into Thursday's district finals on their home field against fellow state-ranked foe Clarkston Everest Collegiate at 5 p.m.
