Florida State to Face Stanford for NCAA National Championship on Monday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — No. 3 Florida State will play for its fifth national title on Monday, December 8, taking on No. 1 Stanford in the NCAA College Cup National Championship at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT from CPKC Stadium.

National Powerhouses Collide
This will be the seventh all-time NCAA Tournament meeting between Florida State and Stanford and the second straight national championship matchup following FSU’s 2023 title win. It marks the third time in eight seasons that two ACC programs square off for the national crown.
Florida State enters its 26th consecutive NCAA Tournament with an 88-19-6 (.805) all-time postseason record—second-best nationally. Since 2020, the Seminoles have been nearly unstoppable, unbeaten in 28 of their last 29 NCAA matches, including their last 13.
Seminoles Charging Into the Final
FSU secured its spot in the title game after a 1–0 semifinal win over No. 2 TCU, notching the program’s 12th clean sheet of the year and third of the tournament.
