DeWitt Poised for Another Strong Run in Division 2

DEWITT, Mich. — The DeWitt Panthers return to the pitch in 2025 with high expectations after a standout campaign last fall. The Panthers posted a 16-3-2 record in 2024, winning the CAAC Blue title before falling in a heartbreaking shootout loss in the district final.

Key Players to Watch

DeWitt brings back several proven leaders and impact players:

  • Carson Soltis – versatile and experienced, expected to be a central figure on both ends of the field.

  • Owen Zelski – a steady playmaker with the ability to change matches in midfield.

  • Cam Starmer – a rising contributor who will look to take on a bigger role.

  • Luke Ladd – another key returner with strong experience in big games.

Season Outlook

The Panthers enter 2025 aiming to defend their CAAC Blue crown, contend for the CAAC Gold Cup, and push for a district title after last year’s narrow exit. With the talent and experience returning, DeWitt projects as a top 10–15 team in Division 2 — and possibly higher if the group continues to develop as expected.
