WPSL: PSD Academy remains unbeaten with shutout of Colorado Pride

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Still perfect.
After four starts, PSD Academy is still unbeaten on the season – unscored upon to be exact.
PSD Academy – ranked 11th in the WPSL Week 4 polls – moved to 4-0-0 on the season within the Mountain Conference-Rockies Division Saturday night with a 3-0 shutout of host Colorado Pride at the Mountain Lion Stadium.
PSD scored twice in the first half and tacked on another goal in the second half to prevail over the Pride – PSD Academy's fourth shutout victim of the young campaign.
Hannah Arnold scored in just the ninth minute unassisted off a steal for what later proved to be the game-winner. She ended with the brace – the second straight game she scored twice – and she now has five goals this season to lead this talented side.
Cate Sheanan also scored in the first half, sending home a shot in the 28th minute.
Arnold capped the scoring in the 79th minute for PSD Academy, giving her a team-best five goals on the season.
Over four games, PSD Academy has now outscored the opposition 20-0 with four shutouts. They are averaging 5.00 goals-per-game while posting a perfect 0.00 goals-against-average so far this summer.
Lucy Krumwiede recorded the clean sheet against the Colorado Pride on the strength of seven saves. Her side has also posted shutout wins over Northern Colorado Rain FC (2-0), Indios Denver FC (2-0) and Colorado Blizzard FC (13-0) this season.
Kiri Ybarra was in net for the Pride, registering eight saves on 11 chances but took the loss in goal.
