USL League Two announces “Game of the Week”

The Game of the Week broadcasts will include a full studio-style production, highlighted by a pre-match show, halftime analysis, and a comprehensive post-game recap. Matches will be called by longtime Detroit City FC broadcast duo Neal Ruhl and John Kreger, bringing veteran play-by-play and analysis to the league’s premier weekly showcase.
Every Game of the Week selection, along with all USL League Two regular season matches, will be streamed live on SportsEngine Play, with PMG elevating the viewing experience for marquee matchups throughout the season.
Selections for the Game of the Week were determined through a comprehensive evaluation process, taking into account factors such as club broadcast capabilities, competitive importance, geographic and divisional balance, and expected in-stadium atmosphere.
The first four Game of the Week matchups for the 2026 season are:
May 9 – Virginia Beach United vs. Lionsbridge FC, 7 p.m. ET
May 16 – McKinney Chupacabras FC vs. Denton Diablos, 8:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. CT
May 23 – Peoria City vs. Des Moines Menace, 8:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. CT
May 30 – Dothan United vs. Columbus United, 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
