LIVONIA, Mich. – Two games, two victories.

And don’t forget two shutouts – and some impressive play all over the pitch.

Flint City WFC opened the 2025 season in United Women’s Soccer and have posted a pair of impressive victories, topping visiting Troy City WFC 7-0 Wednesday at Schoolcraft College.

Isabella Gaetino – a Dexter resident who had five goals, six assists, 25 starts and 27 appearances last fall for NCAA Division I national champion University of North Carolina – led the charge for Flint AFC by scoring four goals on the night.

Marcia Midgley (West Bloomfield/Michigan Hawks/University of Tennessee) added a goal and two assists, while Charlotte McMurtie (Ann Arbor Greenhills/Michigan Hawks/Purdue) and Maya Orlowsky (Rochester Adams/Michigan Hawks) also scored for Flint City.

Rachel Jackson (Detroit Country Day/Central Michigan University), Reese Canada (Fenton/Michigan Hawks/Notre Dame), Brooklyn Schomaker (Michigan Hawks/University of Cincinnati) and Danielle Babowski (Flint Powers Catholic/Michigan Hawks) also picked up assists for the winners, who play some of their home games at Flint Atwood Stadium and some at Schoolcraft College.

Kadanace Radwanski (Northwestern University) made four saves for the clean sheet for Flint City AFC. Radwanski has made seven total saves over two shutouts to keep her save percentage at 1.000 and goals-against-average at 0.00 after two games.

Flint City AFC will be back in action June 7 when it plays host to in-state rival Michigan Jaguars at Kettering University’s Atwood Stadium in Flint.
