NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Sam Surridge scored in the 36th, 50th and 84th minutes to lift Nashville SC past the Philadelphia Union, 3–1, on Tuesday night at GEODIS Park, sending the Coyotes to their first Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final. Quinn Sullivan pulled one back for Philadelphia in the 70th. U.S. Soccer

The English striker now leads the Open Cup scoring chart and continues to top the MLS Golden Boot race, punctuating a dominant Nashville performance that limited the Union to four shots on target. Nashville managed the closing stages after Surridge’s third, closing out a physical semifinal that featured seven cautions. U.S. Soccer
