The battle for the top spot in college soccer continues to heat up as Stanford University reclaims the No. 1 ranking in the latest United Soccer Coaches Men’s Top 25 Poll. The Cardinal (10-1-1) earned eight first-place votes and 200 total points after another strong week in Pac-12 play, edging out unbeaten Vermont and Bryant to return to the top.
Stanford leads a competitive national field that features several undefeated and surging programs heading into mid-October.
