LANSING, Mich. — Red Cedar FC has officially announced that Coach Gregory will serve as the club’s Head Coach, while continuing his roles as Co-Owner and Vice President of the organization.
A leader known for vision, trust, and accountability, Coach Gregory brings a people-first approach that extends far beyond tactics and formations. His philosophy centers on relationships, long-term growth, and creating an environment where players are developed not only as athletes, but as individuals.

A former professional soccer player, Gregory is also the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Soccer Kickers, a Michigan-based youth development program that has impacted thousands of players and families across the state. His reputation throughout the Michigan soccer community is built on consistency, honesty, and a commitment to sustainable player development.
A Proven Coaching Resume
Coach Gregory’s experience spans every level of the game, including youth, collegiate, and professional soccer. In addition to team coaching, he has worked extensively as a personal trainer, focusing on performance, fitness, confidence, and mental strength.
His coaching accomplishments include:
GLCC National Championships
Women’s Soccer — NCAA Division II
Gregory also holds a Computer Science degree with a Business minor from the University of Michigan, blending technical knowledge with leadership and operational insight.
Building More Than a Team
“I love this group and I’m proud to be part of this journey with them,” Gregory said. “Coaching isn’t about being the boss — it’s about listening, building trust, and growing together. These boys trust me the same way I trust them.”
Red Cedar FC enters the professional indoor season with one of the youngest and most talented rosters in the league, including a 16-year-old player. While indoor soccer presents unique challenges, Gregory believes the foundation being built will pay dividends well beyond the current season.
“Professional indoor soccer is challenging, but this group embraces it,” he said. “The future is bright — and we’re building it the right way.”
For Red Cedar FC, this appointment represents more than a coaching change. It reflects a long-term commitment to culture, development, and unity.
This is more than a season. This is growth. This is family. This is Red Cedar. ❤️
