BETHANY, Okla. – Camryn Regier is just a sophomore. But she is starting to turn a lot of heads.
Especially those of opposing goalkeepers. And coaches. And everyone around the Oklahoma girls soccer scene.
The talented 10th grader from Bethany High School was back at it again Wednesday in the Oklahoma Class 4A District 1 state tournament. She scored six goals in a 10-0 rout of visiting Oklahoma City Mount St. Mary’s in a district semifinals match to keep her season alive.
That gives Regier – who is also a standout in club soccer playing for OK Energy FC ECNL 08 – a total of 42 goals on the 2025 campaign, a new single-season school record. The old single-season mark was established in 2022 when Braelyn Baker scored 39 goals.
Regier will have at least one more game to add to her totals, as the Bronchos will host Class 4A eighth-ranked Chickasha Friday night for the district title. Bethany will have revenge on its mind, as the Bronchos dropped a 3-0 decision to Chickasha last April during the state tournament.
Against Mount St. Mary’s, Class 4A seventh-ranked Bethany extended its winning streak to 11 games. After starting the year 1-3-0, the Bronchos have picked up steam with a 79-7 scoring edge in that streak. Overall for the season, the Bronchos have outscored the opposition 85-19 with six shutouts, including two straight clean sheets.
In the first four games of the 2025 campaign, Bethany was outscored 11-6 before righting the ship.
Against Mount St. Mary’s, Regier wasn’t the only one wreaking havoc on the Rockets back line, although she added an assist for good measure. Freshman Jocelyn Balderas chipped in with two goals and an assist, while senior Kavien Donley and freshman Camdyn Konz also scored for the Bronchos (12-3-0).
