National Soccer Network Named Official Broadcast Partner of Muskegon Risers

MUSKEGON, Mich. — National Soccer Network (NSN) and Premier Media Group are proud to announce a new partnership with the Muskegon Risers, naming NSN as the Official Broadcast Partner of the Muskegon Risers. The agreement will bring live and on-demand coverage of Risers matches to fans locally, regionally, and nationally through the National Soccer Network platform. Founded in January 2014, the Muskegon Risers organization was created to help facilitate positive social and economic change along the Muskegon Lakeshore through the game of soccer. The club’s name reflects the belief that a Riser is someone who recognizes their community’s potential and actively works to elevate it. Inspired by the iconic “Muskegon, Together Rising” sculpture located in the heart of downtown Muskegon, the Risers represent a spirit that transcends eras, industries, and backgrounds—connecting a community that spans the globe.

While we want all fans to be in the arena with us, this collaboration will make it feel like you’re right inside Trinity Health Arena, taking in the action live.”
As the Official Broadcast Partner, NSN will deliver professional live broadcasts, commentary, graphics, and digital coverage designed to enhance the fan experience while showcasing the Risers’ commitment to excellence both on and off the field. The partnership aligns with NSN’s mission to elevate soccer at every level by telling the stories of clubs that are deeply rooted in their communities.
The Muskegon Risers’ identity is closely tied to the region’s history and geography. The name “Muskegon” originates from the Ojibwe word “mashkig,” and the club’s arrow-shaped crest honors this indigenous heritage. Positioned on Lake Michigan and home to the only deep-water port on Michigan’s west coast, Muskegon’s culture is shaped by shipping, boating, and beach-going. The Risers’ blue and green colors reflect the city’s natural beauty during the spring, summer, and fall, while the winter arena season features a black-and-white crest symbolizing frozen Muskegon Lake and lake-effect snow. The crest’s top symbol—layered over sun and waves—is derived directly from the “Muskegon, Together Rising” sculpture.
Through this partnership, fans will gain expanded access to Muskegon Risers matches, highlights, and behind-the-scenes content, strengthening the connection between the club and supporters wherever they are.
