MISSOURI GIRLS SOCCER: Liberty blanks Union; Cor Jesu Academy rolls past Rock Bridge

LAKE ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Behind three goals and an assist from Sophie Means, Lake St. Louis Liberty cruised past Union 5-0 in Missouri girls soccer play.
Leah Czerniewski and Madelynn Moyers also finished with a goal and an assist apiece, while Ava Shmucker and Izzy Slew picked up single assists For Liberty (9-6-1).
Stella Zielinski made five saves for the shutout.
Union drops to 9-8-1.
ST. LOUIS COR JESU ACADEMY 9, COLUMBIA ROCK BRIDGE 1: Cor Jesu Academy had little problems with tripping up Rock Bridge in a non-conference game.
Sophomore forward Maddie DiMaria finished with three goals and an assist to lead the way for the Chargers, ranked No. 1 in Class 3.
Cor Jesu Academy improved to 14-1-0 and now owns a 56-11 scoring edge this season.
The Chargers are the defending Missouri High School Athletic Association Class 3 state champions.
