MILWAUKEE, WI – The Milwaukee Panthers women’s soccer team continued their conference dominance Saturday afternoon at Engelmann Stadium, defeating Green Bay 4–0 to claim their eighth consecutive Horizon League Tournament Championship.

Early pressure paid off when Zoey Pagels opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a deflected shot that found the back of the net. Just four minutes later, Tournament MVP Kristina Karlof doubled the advantage in spectacular fashion, curling in a goal directly from a corner kick — her second Olimpico of the season.

Head coach Kevin Boyd praised both sides after the victory:

“Credit to Green Bay and their staff for the year they had. They were tough to play against and showed us we can’t take our foot off the gas,” Boyd said. “But I thought we were on the front foot all game and executed our plan perfectly.”

In the second half, Lola Wojcik sealed the win with two goals — one from distance in the 62nd minute and another in the 83rd — capping off her impressive run of form to close the season.

Goalkeeper Bella Hollenbach was outstanding once again, making eight saves to secure her eighth clean sheet of 2025. Milwaukee’s defense remained unbreakable throughout the Horizon League Tournament, not conceding a single goal.

With the victory, the Panthers (13-4-3) extend their unbeaten streak in Horizon League postseason play to 19 matches (16-0-3) dating back to 2016. Under Boyd’s leadership, Milwaukee has captured both the regular-season and tournament titles in each of the last four seasons.

“The culture here is unbelievable,” Boyd added. “This group is driven by success — always focused on the next game, never satisfied.”
