Madonna Secures 2025 WHAC Men’s Soccer Regular Season Title

LIVONIA, Mich. – For the second consecutive year, and the third time in the last four seasons, Madonna University has claimed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men’s Soccer regular season title. The Crusaders continued their run of excellence with a decisive 2–0 victory over Cornerstone on Saturday afternoon to secure the outright championship.

Madonna closes the 2025 regular season with a 9–1–1 record, good for 28 points, edging Indiana Tech (9–2–0, 27 pts) by a single point in the final standings. This marks the fifth time in the last nine seasons that the Crusaders have lifted the regular season crown, solidifying their place among the premier programs in the conference.

Clinching the Title

Heading into the final day of the regular season, the Crusaders knew exactly what was at stake — win and the title was theirs. Madonna delivered a complete performance, finding the net twice while keeping Cornerstone off the scoresheet in a 2–0 win that sealed their championship fate.

With the title, Madonna earns the No. 1 seed in the upcoming 2025 WHAC Men’s Soccer Tournament, which kicks off next week at host sites across the conference. The Crusaders also clinch home-field advantage throughout the tournament and the first of two automatic bids to the NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round.

Tournament matchups and times are expected to be announced Sunday afternoon.
