Greenville Rolls to 4-0 Win over Naples on Star Wars Night

The Force was with the Triumph as Nour nets a brace in the win

The Greenville Triumph hosted FC Naples last Saturday night inside GE Vernova Park on Star Wars night in the Upstate.  The Triumph ran out a 4-0 USL League One win to climb into thirteenth place in the table as they continue to chase a 2026 playoff berth.

Muba Nour scored a second-half brace to put all three points into the Triumph account as he continued his recent scoring streak netting his sixth goal since joining the club in early July.

 Greenville took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break after Devin Boyce opened the scoring in the 24^th minute to give the hosts the advantage.  The ball rattled around in the midfield taking several deflections before bouncing into the run of Boyce who slotted the ball low into the far post with a confident left-footed strike.

Muba Nour scored his first goal in the 53^rd minute and then his brace in the 87^th minute as FC Naples had no answers for the Triumph goal scorer.  Both goals came from the running of Azaad Liadi who took space on the dribble up the right flank before squaring the ball both times into the feet of Nour running freely inside the Naples box.  Nour guided the first ball home while falling to the ground and the second ball home after a slight pause and turn to freeze the FC Naples keeper.

Nour then switched roles to provider in the 88^th minute to assist Azaad Liadi and slam the door shut on FC Naples.  The Naples keeper played a stray ball after a weak back pass that Nour was quick to pounce on and square to Liadi. Liadi calmly fired the ball into the empty net past the now scrambling keeper for the 4-0 final.

Amal Knight played all 90 minutes in the Triumph goal making two saves in the shutout win.

Greenville hits the road for their next match on September 5 as they travel to play the Chattanooga Red Wolves at 7 PM.  The Triumph are just nine points out of a playoff spot and a win at the Red Wolves would see the club climb to just outside the top ten in the table.
