CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. – One of the top sophomores in the state of New York, Eloise Robinstein is starting to get noticed far beyond the shores of Long Island.
Robinstein, a sophomore student at Port Washington (N.Y.) High School, a resident of Port Washington, and a versatile standout with the SUSA Academy G07 ECNL youth club team, has been invited to train with Gotham FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) May 6-17.
Rubinstein can play midfield, forward and even defense and has gained valuable experience playing all over the pitch on the youth soccer scene even though she is still two years away from graduating from high school. Her invite to Gotham FC is a private, invite-only event led solely by the Gotham FC staff, which will evaluate each invitee over the 1.5-week period..
The 5-foot-10 Robinstein, who has already competed at many high-level ECNL tournaments and a wide variety of showcase events in the soccer space over the last couple of years, is considered an NCAA Division I recruit and will be able to begin the recruitment process after June 15 of this year.
