As the 2026 MHSAA girls soccer season continues to take shape, National Soccer Network (NSN) remains your home for weekly coverage of the MIHSSCA rankings, top teams, and key storylines from across the state.

Week 3 brings the first real signs of separation, with several teams climbing the rankings, new programs entering the conversation, and others adjusting after early-season results.

Division 1 Highlights

Division 1: Stability at the Top, New Faces Enter Rankings

Division 1 remains largely unchanged at the top, with Saline, Byron Center, and Troy holding steady in the top three spots, all remaining unbeaten.

The biggest movement comes just outside the top five, as Rochester Adams stays strong at No. 6 with a 3-0-0 record, while Rockford moves up with a 4-1-0 start, showing one of the most active schedules early in the season.

A notable addition to the rankings is Rochester Hills Stoney Creek, entering at No. 15 with a perfect 3-0-0 record, replacing Grand Blanc from Week 2.

One of the biggest risers is Spring Lake, entering the rankings at No. 15 with an impressive 4-0-1 record, replacing DeWitt. Additionally, Forest Hills Eastern makes its first appearance at No. 13, signaling growing depth in the division.

GR West Michigan Aviation Academy (5-1-1) and Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian (5-1-0) are two of the most active and successful teams so far, continuing to climb the rankings.

A key new addition is Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard, entering at No. 9 with a strong 3-0-1 start, replacing Fremont from Week 2.

Meanwhile, Grand Rapids Catholic Central drops to No. 7 after a 2-3-0 start, one of the more notable early-season shifts among previously top-ranked teams.

Division 4 Highlights

Division 4 sees slight adjustments, but Muskegon West Michigan Christian remains No. 1, despite a 2-2-1 record, highlighting the parity across the division.

Clarkston Everest Collegiate moves up to No. 3, continuing its unbeaten start, while North Muskegon drops slightly to No. 4 after additional matches.

Further down the rankings, Madison Heights Bishop Foley climbs to No. 9, improving to 2-2-0, while Saginaw Valley Lutheran slides to No. 14.
