LAFAYETTE, La. – There are four teams in the hunt for the Mid South Division title within the USL League Two.

By the slimmest of margins, Louisiana Krewe FC leads the table and the side picked up a crucial divisional win Tuesday with a 1-0 victory over the Little Rock Rangers at Rajun Cajun Soccer Stadium.

While the Krewe FC only has nine points and Little Rock, Denton Diablos and Hattiesburg FC all have 10 points – the Krewe are 3-1-0 overall and lead the division by the slimmest of margins with a.750 percentage.

Xander Blanche scored a goal in just the eighth minute off a Italo Jenkins cross, goalkeeper Max Hinke and a stout back line made it stand.

Hinke made six saves and Guillermo Garcia, Iago Rodrigues and Ty Nero helped blanket the Rangers’ attack for 90-plus minutes for the team’s first shutout of the season.

The Louisiana Krewe FC have outscored the opposition 8-6 overall but have three one-goal wins and one loss decided by a goal.

The Krewe opened with a 2-1 loss to fellow Mid South Division contender but surged back with wins over Red River FC (3-2), Mississippi Brilla FC (3-2) and Little Rock Rangers (1-0) to go on a three-game win streak.
