Fort Wayne FC has added one of the most decorated players in college soccer from last season, announcing the signing of Clarence Awoudor. The move is pending league and federation approval.

Awoudor, a 22-year-old attacking midfielder, is coming off a standout senior campaign at the University of Central Florida. There, he teamed up with forward Lilian Ricol — now also a member of the Fort Wayne FC roster — helping guide UCF to the first Sun Belt Conference title in program history.

His list of accolades speaks for itself. Awoudor earned United Soccer Coaches Division I All-America Third Team honors and was named to the All-Southeast Region First Team. He also secured spots on the Sun Belt Conference First Team and All-Tournament Team.

Awoudor set UCF’s single-season assist record with 15 assists, while adding seven goals in 21 matches. He logged 17 complete matches during his senior season, showcasing both durability and consistency in the midfield.

“I’m really excited to join Fort Wayne FC,” Awoudor said. “It’s an ambitious project with a clear vision, and that’s something that really attracted me to the club.”
