THE LEAGUE FOR CLUBS: Atlantic City FC explodes in win over Lighthouse; Kensington SC edges First State FC with pair of late goals

PHILADELPHIA – Not much could slow the Atlantic City FC Sunday night.
The side exploded for seven goals and even accidentally put the ball into the back of its own net in a 7-1 The League For Clubs victory over Lighthouse Boys Club at the Lighthouse Sports Complex.
Kai Forsythe led the charge with the brace and an assist for Atlantic City FC, which recorded the win in its season opener. Forsythe scored in the 29th and 36th minutes to put his nside up 4-1 at the halftime break.
Barian Bradshaw scored in the sixth minute and Ryan Gale added a tally scored in the 17th minute, which later proved to be the game-winning goal. Mateo Rodriguez (63rd) and Ryan Cleary (84th).
Lighthouse Boys Club (0-2-0) scored its goal when an Atlantic City defender mishit an errant clear and sent the ball into the back of the net.
KENSINGTON SC 3, FIRST STATE FC 1: Kensington scored a pair of late goals to build a 3-0 advantage and held on for the Northeast Conference win Sunday at Tiger Field at Holy Family University in Philadelphia.
Franklyn Karngbaye scored in the 41st and 76th minutes and Jonathan Olaleye added a goal in the 80th minute for Kensington (1-1-0).
Johan Morales made six saves in seven chances for Kensington FC.
Taiga Matsumoto tallied in the 85th minute to trim the deficit down to 3-1 but First State could not complete the comeback. Victor Jaunay made seven saves in 10 chances.
