Riverhounds Unveil Exciting 2026 Promotions Schedule

PITTSBURGH (Feb. 12, 2026) — Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC has officially announced its 2026 Promotions Schedule, bringing an exciting lineup of giveaways, theme nights and fan experiences as the Hounds return to the pitch following their historic USL Championship title run in 2025.
Fans braving Pittsburgh’s winter weather can already look ahead to a cool reward next fall. The highlight giveaway of the season will be a Riverhounds fold-up “parking chair,” distributed on Fan Appreciation Night during the regular-season finale on Oct. 24 against Birmingham Legion FC.
The celebrations begin much earlier, however. The season kicks off in style on Saturday, March 28, when the Hounds host Sporting Jacksonville for Championship Celebration Night. The evening will feature the unveiling of the club’s 2025 championship banner, a replica banner giveaway for fans and the first of three Firework Frenzy post-match shows.
Additional must-have giveaways throughout the season include:
Replica Championship Ring – May 2
AMO Bobblehead (vs. Louisville City FC) – July 18
Collectible “Hype Train” – Aug. 8
Fan-favorite $1 Beer Nights also return in 2026. The first $1 I.C. Light special (available until kickoff) will take place during College Night on April 18 against Detroit City FC. Five additional matches will feature the promotion: April 25, June 13, July 11, July 25 and Sept. 12 — the latter including a special Beer Stein Giveaway.
New theme nights in 2026 promise something for everyone, including:
Austin Powers Night – May 2
America 250 Night (July 4 celebration)
The Odyssey Night – July 25
Peanuts Night – Aug. 15
Returning favorites include Military Appreciation Night on Sept. 12 and Hispanic Heritage Night on Oct. 10. The full 2026 Promotions Schedule is available at riverhounds.com/2026-promotions. Season tickets and multi-game plans are on sale now, with single-game tickets set to go on sale Wednesday, Feb. 18.
