LONG BEACH, Calif. – The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) welcomes back the 2024 NISA Champions Los Angeles Force as the league's fifth club to participate in the 2025 NISA Pro Cup this fall.

LA Force has been a part of NISA since the league's inception and has made the playoffs in four of the last six seasons. Last season, the Force finished first in the Western Conference with 44 points and advanced to the NISA Championship. LA Force defeated Irvine Zeta FC 3-2 on penalties after a thrilling 1-1 draw to win its first NISA championship trophy.

The Force began as FC Golden State Force in the Southwest Premier League. The club has also participated in two summer leagues and has showcased and developed great talent over the years since its founding in 2015.

"We're thrilled to get back on the pitch for the 2025 NISA Pro Cup," said LA Force Vice President and General Manager Alex Lujan. "As defending champions, the LA Force is ready to embrace the challenge, compete at the highest level, and continue representing the city of Long Beach with pride. This tournament marks a fresh chapter for the league, and we can't wait to be part of the energy and intensity that only NISA brings."

FC Golden State Force (now known as LA Force 2) has been a part of NISA Nation since 2021 and has won three Southwest Region Championships. After a slow start, LA Force 2 has won six consecutive matches during the 2025 spring season in NISA Nation and defeated Capo FC 4-1 over the weekend. With the win, LA Force 2 moved to first in the Coast Region table with 19 points.

Last season, the Force also won their fourth consecutive West Region Championship trophy in the NISA Independent Cup. The Force had three players, Michael Salazar, Justin Jovel, andgoalkeeper Seth Torman, named to the NISA Best XI at the end of the 2024 season. Torman also won the 2024 NISA Golden Glove Award.

NISA will announce more participating clubs for the 2025 NISA Pro Cup in the coming days andweeks. Fans can stay up to date and learn more about the club by following the Los Angeles Force on its social media pages or by visiting their website below.
