LAFC continued its impressive start to the 2026 MLS season on Saturday night, earning a 2-0 road victory over the Houston Dynamo at Shell Energy Stadium. The win marks LAFC’s fourth consecutive triumph and keeps the Black & Gold unbeaten to open the campaign.

Mark Delgado and Stephen Eustáquio each found the back of the net in the second half, with Eustáquio scoring his first goal for LAFC.

Using the same starting XI that faced Inter Miami the previous week, LAFC controlled much of the first half. The Black & Gold dictated possession and outshot Houston 9-5 in the opening 45 minutes but were unable to break through, as the teams entered halftime scoreless at 0-0.

Momentum shifted firmly in LAFC’s favor just before the break when Houston defender Antonio Carlos was issued a red card in first-half stoppage time, leaving the Dynamo down to 10 men.

LAFC capitalized on the advantage in the 56th minute. Following a short corner between Denis Bouanga and Son Heung-Min, Son found Delgado at the top of the box. Delgado curled a composed finish inside the far post to give LAFC a 1-0 lead.

Houston’s challenges deepened in the 76th minute when Agustín Bouzat received a red card, reducing the Dynamo to nine men.

With a two-man advantage, LAFC struck again in the 82nd minute on a nearly identical set piece. Bouanga and Son once again combined on a short corner, with Son delivering the ball to Delgado at the top of the area. This time, Delgado slipped a pass to Eustáquio, who fired a powerful shot into the bottom-left corner to double the lead and secure the result.

The victory marks LAFC’s first win in Houston since 2019 and the first time in club history the team has opened a season with four straight wins.

LAFC returns home on Saturday, March 7, to host FC Dallas at BMO Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT. The match will stream live on Apple TV, Coupang Play, and SPOTV, with radio coverage available on 710 AM ESPN and the ESPN LA app (English), 980 AM La Mera Mera (Spanish), and 1230 AM K-Radio (Korean).
