Fresh off win No. 150, Rensing reflects on Spartan success and the season ahead
EAST LANSING, Mich. — Just days after earning his 150th career victory, Michigan State men’s soccer head coach Damon Rensing will appear this Thursday on Inside the Game, airing exclusively on the National Soccer Network (NSN).
Rensing reached the milestone Monday night as the Spartans defeated Detroit Mercy 1–0 in East Lansing, led by a decisive second-half goal from freshman Luke Spadafora. Now in his 17th season leading MSU, Rensing has become one of the most accomplished coaches in the college game, guiding the Spartans to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances and two College Cups.
On Thursday’s episode, Rensing will sit down to discuss:
Reaching the 150-win milestone
The development of young talent in the program
The 2025 Spartans’ outlook and early momentum
The evolution of college soccer in the Midwest
Building a competitive and unified team culture
This in-depth conversation is only available on NSN, your home for exclusive interviews, game coverage, and original soccer content from youth to pro.
Don’t miss Inside the Game — Thursday only on the National Soccer Network.
