Michigan HS Boys Soccer Rankings — What Changed Week-to-Week


Portage Central still sets the D1 pace, Hudsonville Unity Christian continues to headline D2, Detroit Country Day holds firm in D3, and D4 has a new No. 1 after a shuffle at the top. The notes below reflect changes from last week’s MIHSSCA poll to this week’s lists you shared.


Division 1

Portage Central stayed No. 1, while Ann Arbor Huron made the biggest jump inside the top five, rising from No. 6 to No. 2. Holland West Ottawa rocketed from No. 15 to No. 6 after a strong week. Traverse City West (10→8) and Grand Haven (13→10) nudged upward, while Clarkston (2→3) and Okemos (3→4) each slipped a spot. Troy Athens slid from No. 4 to No. 14. New to the Top 15: Hudsonville (7), Royal Oak (13) and Saginaw Heritage (15). Falling out: Troy, Saline and Salem.


Division 2

The top four held: Hudsonville Unity Christian (1), Forest Hills Central (2), Warren De La Salle (3) and New Boston Huron (4). Cranbrook Kingswood edged up (6→5) with DeWitt (7→6) and Holland (8→7) also inching forward; Allendale dipped (5→8). St. Joseph made one of the week’s bigger moves (14→10) and Mason rose (10→9). Orchard Lake St. Mary’s ticked down (9→11). New entries: Edwardsburg (14) and Marquette (HM→15). Out: Walled Lake Western (13); Muskegon Reeths-Puffer slid to HM.


Division 3

Detroit Country Day remained No. 1. Pontiac Notre Dame Prep swapped places with Flint Powers Catholic (3→2; 2→3). Elk Rapids leapt into the first five (9→5). Paw Paw climbed (8→7) while Ann Arbor Greenhills (6→8), Grosse Ile (7→10) and Grand Rapids Catholic Central (10→14) drifted. Williamston surged from HM to No. 9; Milan dropped to HM. Ovid-Elsie held at No. 13 and Kingsford stayed at No. 15.


Division 4

D4 has a new leader: Plymouth Christian rose from No. 4 to No. 1. Lansing Christian slid to No. 3 (1→3) with University Liggett steady at No. 2. North Muskegon nudged up (5→4) while Calvin Christian dipped (3→5). Potter’s House Christian (12→8) and Harbor Springs (13→9) were notable risers; Detroit Cristo Rey climbed (14→11). Leland fell (8→15) and Kalamazoo Christian dropped out of the Top 15; Maple City Glen Lake entered at No. 13.
