On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup featured several compelling First Round matches. Here's a summary of the results:​


Columbus Crew 2 (MLS Next Pro) 4-1 NY Renegades (UPSL)

Virginia Dream FC pulled off an upset, overcoming the Richmond Kickers with a strong second-half performance.​


Inter Miami CF II (MLS Next Pro) 4-2 Miami United FC (UPSL)
