Flint City Bucks Announce 2026 Home Schedule

U.S. Open Cup Match, AFC Opening Night Highlight Landmark 30th Season
FLINT, Mich. — The Flint City Bucks have officially finalized their 2026 schedule, ushering in another summer of elite semi-professional soccer in Genesee County as the club celebrates its 30th competitive season.
The historic Bucks return to USL League Two as defending Central Conference and Great Lakes Division champions, aiming for their seventh consecutive postseason appearance — a streak that spans their entire tenure at Kettering University’s iconic Atwood Stadium.
Flint City will compete in a 12-match USL League Two regular season schedule, the 111th edition of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and at least one additional friendly match.
Open Cup & Early-Season Highlights
The Bucks will open their 2026 campaign in historic fashion, hosting professional side Forward Madison FC (USL League One) in the First Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 19 at Don Batchelor Stadium in Grand Blanc. Additional cup matches could return to Atwood Stadium depending on tournament progression.
Flint City AFC — the club’s women’s side competing in United Women’s Soccer (UWS) — will hold its Atwood Stadium Opening Night at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 16, against Tulip City United. The match will feature a special scarf giveaway presented by Dort Financial Credit Union and cap the third annual Vehicle City Soccer Classic showcasing top Genesee County girls high school programs.
The Bucks will also host Detroit Metro FC (United Premier Soccer League) in a non-league friendly at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 20 at Don Batchelor Stadium. The match will benefit the Humane Society of Genesee County.
USL League Two Home Schedule at Atwood Stadium
All USL League Two home matches will be played at Atwood Stadium as part of an all-Michigan Great Lakes Division slate.

Tentative playoff dates include July 16, July 18, July 24, July 26, and August 1, with Flint City expected to bid to host all matches for which they qualify.
