INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The youth soccer spotlight shifts to the Midwest this weekend as the ECNL Boys arrive for ECNL Indianapolis (April 10-12). Marking a milestone for the league, this weekend is set to be the largest ECNL Boys recruitment event in history, providing an unprecedented platform for collegiate scouting and elite player identification.
The massive showcase will feature 178 teams from the ECNL Boys U15-U18/19 divisions, joined by 56 teams from the ECNL Regional League (U17-U18/19), all converging at the world-class Grand Park Sports Campus.
A Weekend of "Inaugural" Showcases
While the sheer volume of teams is a headline in itself, the event features several high-stakes additions to the ECNL calendar:
ECNL Boys Super Cup Championship: The inaugural crowning of the Super Cup champion.
ECNL Regional League Boys Leaders Cup: A brand-new competition format for the Regional League’s top performers.
Continental Tire National Selection Game (NSG): The weekend’s premier individual showcase, featuring hand-picked "all-stars" in a representative match on Friday night.
Friday Night Lights: National Selection Game
The Continental Tire ECNL National Selection Game kicks off Friday at 6:00 PM EST. Players were selected by league scouting staff based on standout performances over the past several months. To ensure they are at their physical peak for the showcase, these athletes will not play for their respective clubs on Friday.
Roster Highlights:
East Selection: Featuring top prospects like Juan Castro (MVLA SC), Cristiano Delgado (Kansas City Athletics), and local standout Diego Navarro (Indiana Elite).
West Selection: Led by talents such as Cohen Havill (Louisville City Academy), Chase McDonald (Penn Fusion SA), and Lilly Yakel (Portland Thorns affiliate).
