ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Welcome aboard Jordan Craze and George Easter.

Oakland University Women's Soccer is excited to announce the addition of Jordan Craze as Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper Coach, and George Easter as Assistant Coach. Both bring a wealth of coaching experience and a history of success to the program.

JORDAN CRAZE | ASSISTANT COACH AND GOALKEEPERS COACH

A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Jordan Craze joins Oakland after a highly successful stint as the Goalkeeper Coach for both the Shaw University women's soccer and men's soccer teams. Over two years at Shaw (2023 and 2024), he helped lead Shaw to two USCAA National Titles, including the first championship in program history. Under his guidance, the team set a program record with 16 wins in 2023.

“I’m excited to welcome Jordan to our staff! He has developed his expertise across multiple levels of NCAA soccer, working on both the men’s and women's sides, as well as in youth club soccer,” said Oakland Head Coach Devin Zvosec. “From NCAA Division II to the P4 level, his passion for student-athlete development is evident. His primary focus will be leading the growth of our GK Union, and I couldn't be more excited about the impact he'll have. Jordan's genuine care for the student-athletes he works with, combined with his positive attitude and deep commitment to the game, stood out from our very first conversation. I have no doubt he will play a key role in helping our student-athletes grow both on and off the field.”

Craze also previously served as the Men's Soccer Goalkeeper Coach at Frostburg State University (2021-2023) and played a key role in the development of goalkeepers at Knoxville (Tenn.) Concord Christian School (2020-2021), where he helped the program reach its first-ever state quarterfinals. His experience also includes a role as Vanderbilt University's Assistant Director of Operations in from 2019 to 2020, where he worked extensively with goalkeepers and provided film analysis.

Additionally, he has coached at goalkeeper camps for the University of Tennessee, North Carolina State University, and University of North Carolina-Greensboro.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to coach at a place like Oakland University that possesses all of the resources and support needed to build a winning program," said Craze. “Coach Zsovec has a great plan for the future of the women's soccer program and I'm ready to help him and the rest of the staff build this team into a perennial contender for Horizon League titles and NCAA tournament appearances.”

GEORGE EASTER | ASSISTANT COACH

George Easter brings eight years of collegiate coaching experience, most recently serving as the Head Coach of the University of Michigan-Dearborn Women's Soccer program from 2022 to 2024. Under his leadership, the team achieved its most successful season in program history in 2023, earning its first postseason appearance. An excited Zvosec said about Easter:

“I’m thrilled to welcome George to our staff. With over a decade of dedication to the game, his extensive experience, spanning youth, collegiate, and semi-professional levels, makes him an invaluable addition. He brings a deep connection to Michigan youth soccer and a strong tactical understanding that aligns with our game model. George takes pride in helping players reach their full potential, and his energy and positivity will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on our student-athletes' development, both on and off the field,” beamed Zvosec.

Prior to his time at U of M-Dearborn, Easter played a pivotal role in the development of women's soccer in Michigan, serving as the Assistant Coach and Reserve Team Head Coach for Detroit City FC Women's First Team in 2021. That year, he helped guide the team to the UWS League Two Great Lakes Conference Division Championship and earned Coach of the Year honors.

Easter’s success extends to the high school and club levels as well. In 2023, he led the Plymouth (Mich.) Canton High School to a MHSAA Division 1 district championship, was named District Coach of the Year, and guided the team to the Division 1 regional finals before falling in overtime to Saline (Mich.) High School. He is also an active club coach for DCFC Youth West.

“I am very thankful for this opportunity and couldn't be more excited to work with the Oakland Women's Soccer program," said Easter. “The vision Devin has for the success of this program goes beyond the pitch, and I look forward to supporting that vision with my own experience.”Oakland Women’s Soccer looks forward to the upcoming season and the impact that coaches Craze and Easter will have on the team’s success.
