College Soccer’s Top Individual Honor to Be Broadcast Nationally on the National Soccer Network

ST. LOUIS — The National Soccer Network (NSN) will air the Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy Awards on Friday, Jan. 9, bringing college soccer’s most prestigious individual honor to a national audience.
The Hermann Trophy, presented annually since 1967, recognizes the top male and female collegiate soccer players in the United States. The crystal soccer ball trophy represents the highest individual achievement in college soccer, with past winners including Mia Hamm, Crystal Dunn, Claudio Reyna, Brad Friedel, John Harkes, and Alexi Lalas.
“This is a landmark moment for the National Soccer Network,” said Jonathan Turner, Founder of NSN. “The Hermann Trophy represents the very best of college soccer, and being able to showcase these student-athletes and their accomplishments on a national platform aligns perfectly with our mission to elevate the game at every level. Finalists for the 2025 Men’s MAC Hermann Trophy are Richie Aman (University of Washington), Junior Diouf (Grand Canyon University), and Donavan Phillip (NC State University). The 2025 Women’s MAC Hermann Trophy finalists include Jasmine Aikey (Stanford University), Jordynn Dudley (Florida State University), and Izzy Engle (University of Notre Dame).
The awards banquet will take place at the Missouri Athletic Club’s Downtown Clubhouse in St. Louis. Media availability with the finalists is scheduled from 5–6 p.m. (CST) on the fourth floor of the club, followed by the awards banquet beginning at 7:15 p.m. in the second-floor ballroom. The announcement of the men’s and women’s winners is expected at approximately 8:30 p.m. (CST).
A live broadcast of the ceremony will air on the National Soccer Network (NSN), with streaming coverage also available at machermanntrophy.org beginning at 7 p.m. (CST).
The evening will feature special remarks from former MAC Hermann Trophy winners Brad Friedel, John Harkes, and Alexi Lalas, who will share their experiences competing for the United States at the FIFA World Cup. All three will be available to the media during the pre-event reception from 5–6 p.m. on the fourth floor.
