CHICAGO, Ill. (Nov. 26, 2025) — Major League Indoor Soccer Extended (MLISX), an expansion of Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS), announced today that Barilleros, based in Kansas City, Kansas, has officially joined the league.
The club is led by Owner and Head Coach Mike Garcia, with Emmanuel Camacho and Jesse Calderon serving as team managers. Barilleros aims to continue building on its strong regional presence as it prepares for its first season in MLISX.
Barilleros most recently competed in Major Arena Soccer League 3 (MASL 3) before making the transition to MLISX.
“MLISX has what we are looking for, and we are honored to be a part of it,” said Garcia.
All home matches will be played in Lenexa, Kansas, and Garcia noted that the organization is eager to connect with coaches, players, and teams across the MLIS family, including MLIS and Women’s Major League Indoor Soccer (WMLIS).
Looking ahead, Barilleros’ long-term goals include competing at a high level within MLISX, winning matches, setting new standards, and establishing itself as a recognized and respected name throughout the league.
