Daniel Stickradt is a veteran communications, journalist, web and content editor, copy editor, social media director and public relations director with more than 32 years of experience working for newspapers, magazines, web sites, broadcast companies and firms within the media and corporate settings. He also has published his own sports web-based media outlet under AP-style since 2009 while working in a full-time, part-time or in a freelance capacity for numerous media outlets since 1993. He is also a contributor on broadcasts as a color commentator/analyst, serves as a statistician and is a detail-oriented and thorough researcher who has a bear for historical and accurate details.
Stickradt went full-time with the Premier Media Group, Michigan Soccer Network and now the National Soccer Network in March of 2024 and has aided the corporate team and news media division at this outlet to help elevate to new heights.
He has covered state finals contests in the MHSAA, MACS and MCSAA in over 25 sports along with covering NCAA, NAIA and NSMAA collegiate contests in a variety of sports in over 30 years of dedicated service to the Michigan and national sports community. He has also served in a working capacity for 100s of sports events ranging from track and field invitationals to covering and broadcasting the UPSL Final Four.
He served as a public address announcer, statistician, historian and hall of fame committee member for local high schools in the 1990s through today. He has also covered North American semifinals or finals for both the UPSL and USL League Two (formerly PDL) or covered the NSCAA Final Four in men’s basketball. He is a 1999 graduate of NCAA Division I Oakland University. Lettered in both soccer and track and field while at Rochester (Mich.) High School (Class of 1990) and competed in several sports both as a youth or in amateur leagues as a young adult.
