What new car safety tech do you think is actually useful?

So many new cars come with all these crazy safety features now, it's hard to keep track of what's actually worth having. I see commercials all the time boasting about the latest and greatest technology to keep you safe, but I'm a little skeptical. I mean, some of it seems genuinely helpful, like automatic emergency braking, but others seem like overkill to me. Has anyone actually found a particular feature to be a real game-changer in their driving experience? Or are some of these just fancy gimmicks designed to get you to pay more money for the car? What features do you all find the most valuable and trustworthy?

That's a great point! I agree that some of the features seem more useful than others. For example, I've found blind-spot monitoring to be incredibly helpful, especially on busy highways. I recently came across this site https://www.vip-servicecenter.com/services/advanced-driver-assistance-systems-service, that talks more about the different advanced driver-assistance systems that are available. Adaptive cruise control is another one that makes a big difference on long trips, reducing driver fatigue significantly. Of course, it all depends on personal driving habits and what you find important. But I think some of them definitely have a practical value to improve safety!
